This year will be the Macclesfield Young at Heart club’s 11th time hosting an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea (ABMT) event to raise funds for the Cancer Research Council.
To be held on Wednesday, May 16 come along for coffee and cake, buy a specially created calendar or meet local MP Rebekha Sharkie.

Every year Gumeracha is home to the anachronistic sight of people dressed in cloaks wearing shields on their backs and swords on their belts.
What looks like the effects of a wormhole linking 21st century Adelaide Hills to 12th century Britain is actually the Gumeracha Medieval Fair.

On ANZAC Day this Wednesday, April 25, three months of hand knitting and crafting will be displayed on the Mount Barker District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital to raise awareness of the hospitals status as a Soldiers’ Memorial.
Hand knitted red poppies will adorn the front of the Hospital with knitted wreaths adorning batons outside and around the honour board inside the hospital listing those who fell in WWI.

It’s time to dig around in your garden shed and pull out those dusty vintage bikes for the annual Woodside to Charleston vintage bike ride.
The event will be held on Sunday, 15 April after the Woodside swap meet from 11am.

Warrawong Sanctuary has several new additions to the team including peregrine falcon Marvel and full time Warrawong2U coordinator Luke Flesher.
Marvel was brought down from Queensland to Warrawong after being rescued and Luke has taken her under his wing.
